For some school administrators, lunch time can be an opportunity to close the door and escape the hustle and bustle for a few moments, but not for Mr. Luke McAnally. Instead, our School of Rhetoric Principal says he feels blessed to have a group of students join him in his office for lunch regularly. While many students may prefer to stay out of the Principal’s office, our students pack into his office to sit on the floor and receive his advice and encouragement. These gatherings are called “Lunch Bunch.” This tradition started years ago and it was the students’ idea. As the students get older, these meetings have evolved into times of one-on-one prayer and counsel, or just a quick, casual check-in. Our students know they can always bring their concerns to Mr. McAnally.

Now, with three children of his own, Mr. McAnally continues to pray and strive to build Trinity as a unique and special place for our community. As we kick off our “What You Do Matters” series, we want to let Mr. McAnally know how much we appreciate all that he does for our students.

Thank you Mr. McAnally; what you do matters!
