Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
Arrival
All children may be dropped off around the curb in front of the school from 7:30 AM-7:55 AM. Children must be in the classrooms by 8 AM; after 8 AM they will be tardy. We will have staff and parents assisting the children as they exit the cars. We are asking the older children to please close the car door as they exit. Children in grades 1-5 will enter through the gym doors. PreK and Kindergarten children will enter through the door by the Fellowship Hall (the doors just beyond the main doors as you continue around the front circle). There will be staff to walk the younger children to their classrooms.
Dismissal
Click here to see a diagram. At 3:00 PM, we begin dismissing. Please see the diagram for the traffic flow at dismissal. The yellow line directs parents of PreK and K children with older siblings and all children grades 1-5 to the back parking lot to “snake”.
Parents of PreK and K students with no siblings will follow the red arrow and wind around the front of the building to pick up their children under the awning and along the curb.
You will receive a hang tag for the rearview mirror of your vehicle for dismissal purposes. Please let us know if you need additional hang tags.
Faculty Staff & Aides - "My Favorite Things"
Many families ask how they can bless faculty, staff, and aides at Trinity. While nothing is expected and many are happy with just a kind email or note, we know that some families would like to do something more. If you would like to know a specific person’s “favorite things” you can click here for staff & aides.
Library Information
Check-Out Procedures
Preschool students may check out one book per week. Kindergarten students may check out two books each week. Previously checked-out resources need to be returned before checking out additional items. First through fifth-grade students may check out three books or two books and one DVD two weeks before they are due. The resources may be renewed for an additional two weeks.
Overdue Procedures
No additional materials may be checked out until overdue items are returned. An overdue book not returned within two months of check-out will be considered lost and an assessment of $10.00 for a paperback and $20.00 for a hardbound will be charged. If the parents choose, they may purchase a replacement copy of the lost item and bring it to the library in place of paying the fine.
Library Donations
Book donations are gladly accepted. We prefer hardbound editions in good condition. Quality family DVDs are also welcomed.
Birthday Book Club
Parents may celebrate their child’s birthday by blessing the library with a new book. Some special books have been selected that will make a wonderful addition to our library. A special bookplate will be placed on the front cover of the book acknowledging the gift. Mrs. White will present the book donations at the first chapel of each month. Birthday Book Club notices will be sent out periodically throughout the year. To participate, please return the form with a donation of $20.00 for the pre-selected book.
Lunch Information
Depending on the day, children will be eating together in their classrooms, in the lunchroom, or outside. You may pack lunches in lunch boxes, or you may want to pack lunches in a paper bag so everything can go in the trash at the end of lunch. We do not have a microwave use at the Lower Campus.
Hot lunches may be ordered in advance for Wednesdays, Thursdays, and/or Fridays.

Trinity Terms & Jargon
Lower Campus – Another way to refer to the Schools of Early Learning and Grammar Campus.
Upper Campus – Another way to refer to the Schools of Logic and Rhetoric Campus.
Classical Education – This refers to the education style that we use at Trinity. The classical education goes back in order to move us forward; it’s a resurgence of the time-tested model that cultivates a love of learning. Students are not simply given information to be reproduced on standardized tests, but instead are trained in the ways of knowledge, wisdom, and virtue. Practically speaking, this is achieved through three stages of learning coinciding with the natural development of children: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. Learn more here.
SCL – Trinity is accredited by the Society for Classical Learning (SCL).
Titanwear – Titanwear is what we like to call spirit wear. Students may wear Titanwear and jeans every Friday. Titanwear is usually sold a few times per year through the school or you can order from our online store and have it shipped straight to your door. Click here to visit our store.
PTF – This stands for the Parent-Teacher-Fellowship; it is an organization of parents who work to support a variety of activities and programs. Upon joining the Trinity community, all parents become members of the PTF and are encouraged to participate. From helping out in the classroom and supporting athletic teams to planning events and welcoming new families, parents can find a volunteer role that suits their interests and schedules. Parents are encouraged to attend PTF meetings and discover ways they might wish to be involved in the life of the school. For information on PTF meetings, email:
Lower Campus PTF: lsptf@trinitylex.org
Upper Campus PTF: usptf@trinitylex.org
The Cowen Campus – We are in the process of building a state-of-the-art campus on East Brannon Road! We plan to have our students in grades 6-12 on campus by the 2023 school year. the PreK-5 students will eventually move to that campus as well.
Gala – Trinity Christian Academy’s Annual Gala is a highlight of the year for many Trinity families; it provides the Trinity community with the opportunity to come together for an evening of fun, benefitting Trinity students and helping the school continue to soar to new heights.
Trinity Titans – The Titan is our school mascot.
