Congratulations to Trinity senior Nat X., who recently graduated from the prestigious Governor’s Scholars Program (GSP)!
GSP is a selective, five-week summer enrichment and leadership program for Kentucky’s brightest rising seniors. Out of thousands of applicants statewide who went through a competitive, university-style application process, Nat earned one of the coveted spots to study alongside the top students in the state!
During her time at GSP, Nat studied Engineering as well as a general studies course titled “Shakespeare in the Locker Room.” Her summer was packed with unforgettable, practical experiences—from analyzing quotes from poets and philosophers to touring the Toyota Factory and East KY Power Cooperative. She even put her engineering skills to work by designing and building a model lock for a local creek in Morehead!
When asked about her experience, Nat said: “I met so many great people and learned so many valuable things.”
