Trinity sophomore Hannah S. had an opportunity to minister to others this summer on a mission trip to South Africa and shared a little bit of her experience with us below:
“I’m so grateful for the opportunity I had this summer to spend three weeks serving in Mokopane, South Africa!
From working at Maruda Christian School, hosting a reunion for MCS graduates, and helping lead two Vacation Bible Schools, every moment left an impact—not just on them, but on me too. I was so blessed by the people—and those sweet kiddos truly stole my heart.
In the middle of unfamiliar places and faces, God reminded me that He is my security—and that I’ve never truly been alone. Just as Isaiah 43 promises, ‘I will be with you,’ and no matter where I go, I can rest in that truth.”
We are so proud of Hannah for stepping out of her comfort zone and sharing God’s love with others and can’t wait to see how God uses that in the future!
