Trinity Christian Academy offers one strings class at the middle school and at the high school. Sometimes the groups perform independently and sometimes as a combined Upper School Ensemble. Membership in these groups is open to all Trinity students at the discretion of the director. Part assignments are also at the director’s discretion, with the help of occasional playing tests and solo auditions. All students enrolled in the class will receive a grade, but the class must be taken for two days to receive a ½ credit (high school). We perform several times each year including Solo and Ensemble, Grandparents’ Chapel, and the Winter and Spring Concerts. The ensemble is made up of stringed instruments including violin, viola, cello, and bass.
