“Two Buck Club” at Upper School

Our Upper School students are no strangers to giving to others. They participate in service projects and give to special offerings throughout the year.

Right now, our “Two Buck Club” is underway, where students bring $2 to Chapel for the next two weeks to support these organizations:

– September 6 – Kentucky Refugee Ministries.  We are raising money to purchase school supplies.

– September 13 – Titans for Togo.  We would like to raise $600 to send two students to our partner school in Togo.  This amount covers the cost of books, uniforms, and fees.

Remind your student to bring $2 (or more!) on these Chapel days.

Jonathon Waterman at U.S. Chapel

Contemporary Christian artist Jonathon Waterman will perform at Upper School Chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 2:15-3:15 pm. The community of Trinity Christian Academy is invited to hear this up-and-coming artist perform.

Jonathon was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from university in Springfield, Missouri, where he majored in music and law, he moved to Nashville to continue music full time. His first EP, “Back to Music,” was released in 2011 and soon gained recognition in the US and on an international level. In December of 2012, Jonathon recorded his second EP, “Between.” This EP released worldwide on January 29, 2013, reaching #10 on iTunes singer/songwriter charts. Jonathon has now turned is attention to Contemporary Christian music. He released his first Christian EP “Run to You” in early 2014.
